We offer a full range of specialist treatments in-house—including orthodontics (aligners or braces), gum (periodontal) treatment, dental implants, a wide variety of oral surgery procedures, IV sedation, and more.

We understand that some treatments can be a significant investment, especially if they’re unexpected or urgent. That’s why we work closely with you to find flexible solutions.
For complex treatments that take place over several visits, we can spread the cost into manageable instalments. For example:
Orthodontic treatments lasting 12 months can be divided into 12 monthly payments, collected at each appointment.
Implant treatments can often be paid in 2–3 instalments over the course of the treatment.
We also offer external payment options:
Mastercard Installments – if you have a Mastercard, you may qualify for our new instalment plan in partnership with our bank.
An Post Loans – short-term dental loans with competitive rates, designed specifically for dental treatments.
For most people, a check-up once a year is enough. However, some may need to come every six months—or even every three months—especially if you’ve had significant work done or have gum health issues.
During your check-up, we’ll look for signs of tooth decay, gum disease, and other oral health concerns. Early detection means simpler, less costly treatment. As we always say: prevention is better than cure!
You may not realise you’re grinding your teeth—often it’s something your dentist notices first. Signs include:
Wear patterns on your teeth
Bite marks on your cheeks or tongue
Facial muscle tenderness
Jaw joint clicking or discomfort
Broken or worn fillings
If grinding is an issue, relaxation techniques and warm compresses can help. For ongoing cases, we can create a custom nightguard to protect your teeth while you sleep.
If you play contact sports, a custom sportsguard is essential. It protects your teeth, cheeks, and lips from injury and may even reduce concussion risk.
Our custom-made guards fit perfectly, making them comfortable to wear and easy to breathe and speak with—much better than off-the-shelf options.
While overseas dental work may seem cheaper, risks include rushed treatments, complications, and expensive corrective work when you return. At Lucan Dental & Implantology Centre, we provide quality treatment with local follow-up and warranties—plus flexible payment options to make care affordable without leaving the country.
For patients who feel anxious, we offer IV sedation for procedures like extractions, implants, and bone grafting. You’ll remain awake but deeply relaxed and unlikely to remember the procedure.
Composite Bonding – Quick, affordable, and minimally invasive. Great for small chips, gaps, or imperfections, but needs maintenance and replacement every 7–10 years.
Porcelain Veneers/Crowns – Long-lasting, natural-looking, and ideal for major cosmetic changes, but more costly.
The choice depends on your needs, budget, and how much maintenance you’re happy to commit to.
We can provide ultra-white porcelain veneers in shades like BL1, the brightest available. While dazzling white can be stunning, we’ll work with you to choose a shade that suits your features and looks naturally beautiful.
OTC whitening in Ireland is limited by law to very low peroxide levels, meaning it often uses abrasive agents that can damage enamel and cause sensitivity.
